Please allow me to introduce myself. I am Hippie Hick Mom, a working mom of 5 month old little Happy Boy. I subscribe to the following parenting ings: breastfeeding, cosleeping, babywearing, vaccinating, cloth diapering, and hopefully baby led weaning. As you can see, I'm a follower of the attachment parenting philosophy. It happened kind of by accident, or I guess I should say that my son taught me to be an attachment parent.
I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Hick Hubby, for over 6 years now. We're best friends and share many common interests: travel, Thai food, reading, hiking, off-roading in the National Forest, and rating eachother's farts.
I also love knitting, riding my bike, and baking. All of which I've temporarily abandoned since the arrival of Happy Boy.
I guess that's all I have to say for now. I'm not sure what this blog is going to be, but I'll just keep talking to myself until some one joins the conversation.
